Natural Nail and Beak Maintenance for Your Bird
The Living World Pedi-Perch X-Small is a non-toxic cement perch designed to support routine nail, beak and foot care. Its textured surface gently helps maintain blunt, well-groomed nails as your bird moves naturally along the perch.
The wavy, multi-grip design provides varying widths and foot positions, encouraging your bird to move and adjust its grip instead of remaining in one position. This promotes healthy foot circulation and helps reduce the risk of stiffness, arthritis and muscle atrophy associated with limited foot movement.
The textured cement surface can also help clean and condition your bird’s beak during natural rubbing and grooming behaviours.

Suitability depends on your individual bird’s foot size. The bird’s feet should wrap approximately two-thirds of the way around the perch without the toes meeting or overlapping.

INSTALLATION AND USE
Install the Pedi-Perch on the cage door or in another regularly used area. Do not position it as the highest perch in the cage or as your bird’s primary sleeping perch.
Always provide several perches made from different materials and offering a variety of diameters. This allows your bird to change its grip and helps prevent continuous pressure on the same areas of the feet, reducing the risk of foot problems such as bumblefoot.
Monitor your bird’s feet regularly for redness, irritation, pressure spots or other changes. Remove or reposition the perch if irritation develops.
CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS
Scrub the Pedi-Perch under water using mild soap. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue and allow the perch to dry completely before returning it to the cage.
