Arcadia Bird PureSun-CompactKit is an advanced compact fluorescent Full Spectrum + UV-B lighting system created specifically for pet birds. Designed using advanced computer modelling technology, this innovative kit helps maximize downward light output while improving efficiency, safety, and ease of use for bird keepers.
Unlike traditional compact bird lamps with poor reflector performance, the Arcadia Bird PureSun-CompactKit uses a specially engineered reflector hood designed to direct as much beneficial light downward into the cage as possible. This helps provide birds with more effective UV-A and UV-B exposure while reducing wasted light and improving overall safety.
Birds naturally rely on sunlight for colour vision, behavioural enrichment, and natural vitamin D3 production. Proper UV-B exposure helps birds synthesize vitamin D3, which supports calcium absorption, bone strength, feather condition, muscle function, egg quality, and overall health. The balanced UV-A output also supports natural colour vision and visual behaviour.

PureSun-CompactKit is suitable for many small to medium bird species including Budgerigars, small parakeets, Senegal Parrots, Meyers Parrots, Canaries, Finches, small doves, and other similarly sized pet birds.
