Arcadia Bird PureSun-Midi is an advanced full spectrum + UV-B lighting system designed specifically for pet birds. Developed by Arcadia Bird, leaders in avian lighting research and technology, this German-made lighting kit helps provide birds with beneficial full-spectrum light and UV-B energy similar to natural sunlight.

Birds naturally use ultraviolet light to support vitamin D3 production, which plays an essential role in calcium absorption, mineral metabolism, feather condition, bone health, and overall wellbeing. UV-A also helps activate natural tetrachromatic vision, allowing birds to see a wider spectrum of natural colour important for feeding, social interaction, mate selection, and environmental enrichment.

The PureSun-Midi Kit includes everything needed for installation including the 14w ProT5 flicker-free fitting with removable reflector, fittings kit, British-made acrylic support arm, and the Arcadia Bird PureSun-Midi 14w lamp. The system is designed for year-round use and simple cage mounting.

Ideal for medium-sized parrots and birds including Conures, Cockatiels, Senegal Parrots, Meyers Parrots, Lovebirds, Parrotlets, Lineolated Parakeets, small Lorikeets, Dwarf Macaws, and Softbills. Also suitable for Budgerigars, finches, canaries, and diamond doves living in larger flight or breeding cages.

Recommended for cages approximately 2 feet (60 cm) wide or larger.
